Amy Marks-McGee of Trendincite LLC will be hosting a NYC sensory fragrance and flavor trend excursion designed exclusively for WFFC members. Engage your senses through a sensory trend excursion to inspire new fragrance and flavor combinations, unique ingredients and textures, and new product ideas. This excursion will feature a visit to an exotic flower shop, a choice coffee and tea emporium, and a culinary herb and spice shoppe. Lunch is included at a hip dessert bar that highlights unusual sweet and savory combinations to create unexpected flavor contrasts.

"The Fragrance and Flavor Connection"

This presentation focuses on the parallel relationship between fragrance and flavor. It will examine the marketplace to identify common and emerging ingredients used in consumer goods across both industries. Additionally, the presentation will explore the multi-sensorial relationship and the crossover activity in the nutraceuticals/functional foods arena.

This presentation features a visit to a fresh produce store, a trendy frozen yogurt shop, and a hip dessert bar.

"Green Scene…a virtual trend excursion to explore eco-friendly activity in the concrete jungle”

This presentation features a visit to an environmentally responsible building, an organic spa, a neighborhood green bakery, and a socially conscious fashion boutique. Additionally, it is interactive and includes smelling and tasting samples.

"Green meets fashion, fragrance, and food"

This presentation focuses on the green movement and its translation into fashion, beauty, food, and design.

"Cake Walk…a virtual pastry trend excursion - explore contrasting textures created by science & art” 

This presentation is interactive and includes smelling and tasting samples highlighting unique ingredients, textures and flavors from three of the four dessert destinations discussed in the presentation.

"The Fashion and Fragrance Connection"

This is an interactive presentation, which includes smelling scented market products and custom designed futuristic fragrance accords. In addition, Amy Marks-McGee is the co-chair of the event featuring six other speakers from a variety of industries.
